Wassup Family!
It's been a great week. I'm still learning, but there is still much to learn. I can't believe that i haven't been homesick. The Lord has really blessed me. My patience for the elders in my district is running low. It's been frustrating at times. Last week, I went to each of my elder's room except for my district leader's because he was in a heated conversation with his companion. I told the elders that i
love them. I told them why i loved them and then I told them that we have to step it up in Spirit. I told them that i want to hit the mission field on a spiritual high. They respected me for what i had to say. It worked for like 24 hours, now they're back to their old selves. It's all good. God is great. He has comforted me when i've been down.
Ever since, I've joined the church, I've always been a little hard on myself. I expect to be better than average. Its just because i look up to Jesus Christ, my Savior. I want to be like him. I know i won't be perfect, but i keep an high expectation of myself. Its ok, i know what i'm capable of.
Well I hope all is well with everyone. I'm leaving the MTC in 6 days, monday morning. Good Times.
I love you all,
Elder Olaya
