Elder Collard will be returning home to his family in San Diego after serving honorably and faithfully for 2 years in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission. I had a great 6 weeks with him. I'll be training a brand new missionary starting tomorrow. I'll meet him tomorrow and I'll give y'all more information about him in next weeks' email. I'm excited and also a little nervous. This will be my first time traning. I'm confident that I'll get along with him.
We were able to teach Sister O'brien again after 4 weeks of not teaching her. She was scheduled to get baptized on June 5th but wasn't ready. She wants to read the whole Book of Mormon before she gets baptized and she also wants her husband to baptize her. He has to become active and prepared to do it. They're a good family and slowly but surely she will get baptized.
I'm grateful for this work. Thomas S Monson is the Lord's prophet. God is a God of miracles.
Love, Elder Olaya
