It's been 5 months since I've started my mission. The time is going fast. There are so many memories I have so far of my mission. My testimony is at its strongest right now than it has ever been. I'm gaining so much knowledge about the Gospel and about God and my relationship with Him. As I lose myself more in the work, I find out more about myself and who I really am. I'm in the world but not of the world. I know that my service to the Lord doesn't end on October 20th, 2010. It never ends. Serving the Lord and His children brings me great happiness. As I surrender my will to Him and follow His Son, then I become more like His Son and my joy becomes more full. All that God asks us to do, all the commandments He asks us to follow is for us to be happy. Life is hard, but His plan is simple. We will be tried, we will have sorrow, we may get persecuted, we may have pain, but we will grow from all these experiences. The atonement brings us happiness and hope. The atonement redeems and enables. It redeems us from our sins and shortcomings. It enables us to become better each day unto we become more Christ-like. God has composed a masterpiece. We are his musical instruments! We have a chance to glorify God and His Son Jesus Christ every day as we choose to follow them. I love this work!
You could choose right, you could choose wrong
Either tonight, either tomorrow
What would bring light, what would bring sorrow
You know the answer to that,
you know the Lord got your back
