We went to the Temple last Wednesday. It's always a great experience and the Spirit is always felt. I had 5 questions that I wrote down prior to me going to the Temple. I recieved 5 answers by the time I left. The Temple is a place where I can receive personal revelation more clearly and powerfully. I've also written questions that I wanted answers to prior to my scripture study. My study has been more effective as I've dont that. Questions invite revelation. As I'm teaching, I find that when I ask good questions, the learner is able to think prodcutively and ultimately verbalize truths which then allows the Holy Ghost to testify to them that what they're saying is true.
We had a good week. We set a firm baptismal date with John Collins for Novemeber 28th. He's been a blessing in our lives. He has adapted well to our teachings and he has felt the Spirit. He feels comfortable in Church and with the members. He has met up with the Bishop a couple of times. We can't believe how easily he has taken hold of the Gospel. It was 38 years ago when he was introduced to the Church. He tells people that Clinton Davis (his friend from the West Coast) planted a seed and that Elder Koehler and I watered it. I love him very much.
I'm grateful for this work. I know that it's true.
Love Elder Olaya
